Margaret Maxim has been a BCRPA registered personal trainer and group fitness leader for over a decade. She enjoys a fit, healthy and balanced life style, and is exuberant about helping her clients to be the best that they can be. She highlights the vital link between mind and body — that “fitness” involves not only external appearance but also a commitment to wholesome living choices. Margaret’s versatility sets her apart. She enjoys an array of activities that include martial arts, kickboxing, running, dancing, and hiking — all of which she incorporates into her exercise programs. She also continues to challenge herself in order to enhance the training experience she offers her clients. She participates in several runs each year, and encourages her clients to join her. She has hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim in one day, participated in the 2010 and 2011 Vancouver Femsport Women’s Strength and Fitness Challenge, regularly takes on the Grouse Grind, and recently became a Tough Mudder in Whistler. Kristal Maxim

After losing over 50 pounds and re-discovering what it means to feel good, Kristal decided to follow her passion for helping others by inspiring them to take control of their health. She is a newly BCRPA registered personal trainer and is currently working towards her group fitness registration. Her personal approach to fitness is holistic, acknowledging all aspects of our life and how they are all connected. Rather than dwelling on calorie counting or exercising just to look good, her philosophy focuses on what’s natural for our body, and its connection to our mind and spirit. Her wellness journey boasts many successes, including running 20 kilometres accross the island of Corfu in Greece last November, as well as completing Tough Mudder in Whistler in June 2013.
