After losing over 50 pounds and re-discovering what it means to feel good, Kristal decided to follow her passion for helping others by inspiring them to take control of their health. She is a newly BCRPA registered personal trainer and is currently working towards her group fitness registration. Her personal approach to fitness is holistic, acknowledging all aspects of our life and how they are all connected. Rather than dwelling on calorie counting or exercising just to look good, her philosophy focuses on what’s natural for our body, and its connection to our mind and spirit.
Her wellness journey boasts many successes, including running 20 kilometres accross the island of Corfu in Greece last November, as well as completing Tough Mudder in Whistler in June 2013. She loves to train clients outdoors and likes to offer a different approach to the conventional workout. She runs regularly, strength trains and practices yoga daily. When she’s not on the mat or running in the forest, she can be found at the farmer’s market or Greek dancing at parties with her husband.
